This conference brought together leaders from the culture, sport and leisure sector, the local strategic partnership and key stakeholders from the public, business, voluntary and community sectors. The speakers looked at ‘what works’ and what can be achieved by working together in different ways. They also explored the ‘vision for Leicester’, latest thinking on local area agreements, and used practical projects to demonstrate how culture and sport can build sustainable communities and shape strong, prosperous, healthy and cohesive communities.
