Title:

East Midlands Arts in Rural Areas Network presents: Cross Fertilisation and Companion Planting

Date & Location:

 Wednesday 12th November 2008, 9.30am – 4.00pm, The Hub, Sleaford, Lincolnshire

Who should attend?:

The Autumn Conference is aimed at cultural and public sector audiences - local government officers, chief executives, head gardeners and gardeners of the arts.  We will be focusing on opportunities to talk and share ideas in relatively informal sessions throughout the day.

Summary:

A ‘partnerships conference’ with a difference: this is EMARAN’s 4th conference and follows on the heels of a highly successful Spring Event attended by 80 creative practitioners in Market Harborough in May.

With a glorious array of wild and wonderful projects on show, the morning will focus on the artists’ perspective of their work in partnership; with the afternoon session focusing on the public sector partner’s experience. Delegates will be able to choose to attend a presentation in the morning and afternoon from one of the following themes:

·    Arts & Health
·    Arts & Regeneration
·    Arts & Heritage

So get your wellies ready, plant the date in your diary, sit back and wait for the new shoots of more information and a booking form within a very short germination period so that you can be there at the harvest of the EMARAN 4th regional conference for the East Midlands.
